Gold Sexfasciatus Cichlid

Gold with banded stripes, these make an attractive fish and hardy enough to keep in a African community. Like the name “implies”, they are ready breeders at 2″. Gold sexfasciatus are territorial rock dwellers so they do need some space of their own and will work well with other similar bent cichlids. Please don’t get too offended by the name, the “sex” is Latin for 6, and “fasciata” means bands, so another name for the fish is the 6 banded lamprologus.
