Pigeon Blood Discus

The Red Pigeon Blood Discus, sometimes called the Checkerboard Discus, had a distinct red checkerboard pattern on a cream body. The pigeon blood variation was developed in Thailand in the 1980s and is slightly harder to create than the turquoise varieties hence the pigeon bloods are a bit more expensive. These beautiful discus fish come from our exporters tanks in Singapore.
